The Book of the Month Club is the oldest and most well-known book club originally founded in 1926. The Club provides readers an effortless and fun way to discover and enjoy new books and engage with a community of like-minded readers.
Our task was to refresh the core visual brand identity and out-of-box experience to better reflect the Club’s rich and storied history and position the brand for a new generation of readers. We crafted a custom word mark inspired by the original Book of the Month Club print catalogs and crafted a custom monogram where the outer ring functions both as the letter C and is a visual representation of being part of ‘the Club’. We took classic typographic ornaments and applied them in a fun and contemporary manner throughout the brand system.
